ThinkChina Student Forum receives grant

In late 2015 at a board meeting, the S.C. Van Foundation decided to grant 5000 DKK to the continued work of the ThinkChina Student Forum in 2016.

This amount will go a long way in ensuring we can cover the expenses of organizing events addressing China-interested students at the University of Copenhagen and enable us to grow a stronger presence at the university. This semester we seek to use the student forum as platform for reaching out to other Asia studies and institutions dealing with China to strengthen our common capacities.

In the coming months the ThinkChina Student Forum is looking forward to organize:

  • Bachelor Bash for the newly graduated students of China Studies
  • Language cafes open for all students at the University of Copenhagen enhancing their oral language skills (Danish/English/Chinese)
  • Movie nights
  • Internship event; what China-related internships are available, how to apply for them, and experience-sharing by former interns
