Upcoming ChinaTalks lecture: Xi Jinping’s leadership - political ‘supermanship’?

Together with the Centre for Military Studies at Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Social Sciences, we are happy to present professor emeritus Jørgen Delman, China studies, to talk about the leadership of Xi Jinping.

Jørgen Delman discusses how the political system helps ensure Xi Jinping’s grip on power and how Xi binds internal and external policies together to fulfill what he sees as the social contract. Finally, he will discuss whether Xi Jinping’s authoritarian approach reflects uncertainty or political ’supermanship’.
