The Epic Fairy-Tale Narrative of the Communist Party of China
Narratives are an integrated part of society. They shape our perception of the world, and almost every story can be narrated in several different ways, from different angles, and with different intentions. The newest resolution of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on its history from November 2021 narrates China’s contemporary history with the CPC as the main protagonist in a fairy-tale like manner while cementing Xi Jinping’s role as the leader, who will lead China into its future.
