Ole Odgaard – University of Copenhagen

Ole Odgaard (born 1958) holds a PhD on economic and institutional reform in rural China. He has lived 5 years in China from 1982 onwards an has been employed at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he was posted at the Royal Danish Embassy in Beijing in 1992-1995. He is now a special advisor at a Danish ministry – his work focuses on energy planning, renewable energy and combined heat and power in Denmark as well as energy and climate policies in China. He has published several books and a host of articles on China.
